GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.  The contract between us
We must receive payment of the whole price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted.  Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your contact details.  Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.

2.  Ownership of Rights
All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to McAdam Diecast Models.  Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non commercial use, is prohibited without our permission.  You may not modify, distribute or repost anything on this website for any purpose.

3.  Accuracy of content
We have taken care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing and that all goods have been fairly described.  However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website.

4.  Damage to your computer
We try to ensure that this website is free from viruses or defects.  However, we cannot guarantee that your use of this website or any websites accessible through it will not cause damage to your computer.  It is your responsibility to ensure that the right equipment is available to use the website.  Except in the case of negligence on our part, we will not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website.

5.  Availability
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.  If the goods you have ordered are not available from stock, we will contact you by email or phone(if you have given us details).  You will have the option either to wait until the item is available from stock or to cancel your order.

6.  Price
The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in our website.  All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering information.

7.  Payment Terms
We will charge your credit account for payment upon receipt of your order unless delivery cannot be fulfilled within 30 days.  We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the correct payment details.  If it is not possible to obtain full payment for the goods from your account then we can cancel the contract and or suspend any further deliveries to you.  This does not affect any other rights we may have.

8.  Secure Online Ordering
When you place an order online you will be redirected to the Paypal secure payment site where you can use your Paypal account if you have one to pay for the goods ordered.  Alternatively even if you do not have a Paypal account you can still use the Paypal online credit card payment facility where most major credit and debit cards are accepted.  However if you do not have access to credit or debit cards you can send us a cheque or postal order for the goods ordered.  Please note we are unable to dispatch your order until we have received the cheque or postal order and the funds have been cleared.

9.  Delivery charges and Delivery
Our delivery charges are set at a fixed rate of £5.50 per order for delivery within the UK and £10.00 per order for delivery within the Republic of Ireland.  For delivery charges outside of these areas please contact us via email: info@mcadamdiecastmodels.com
We aim to offer a prompt delivery service within the UK and Ireland but please allow up to 14 working days to receive your order.  We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order.  It is important that this address is accurate.
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you.  Once the goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
If the item appears to have been damaged during shipment, please keep all packaging materials.  Our delivery company may wish to do a follow up visit before we can issue a refund.

10.  Returns Policy
We will replace any faulty goods with an identical replacement item or refund your money if the item is no longer available.  Faulty items must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt and returned to us in their original, undamaged box within 14 days of receipt.  They must not show any signs of "wear and tear", damage or usage.  All returned items must be securely packaged and a certificate of posting must be obtained from the Post Office.  Replacement items or refunds will not be issued until the original item hase been received by us.  Any items returned because of "change of mind" will need to be returned at your own expense (within 7 days of receipt) and we will only refund the cost of the model.  Please contact us via email before returning any goods: info@mcadamdiecastmodels.com
